Activities

We offer recreation classes on every day of the week.

Pre-school classes on Thursdays and Fridays.

Birthday parties on Saturdays & Sundays.

Development  and competitive classes are also available for selected children. 

 

We use bars beam, vault, floor also trampoline for rebound. We develop children's balance, awareness and self confidence using these pieces of apparatus.

Once every term we will do gymnastics awards following our own developed "Performance gymnastics awards scheme ". This lets the children work towards passing certificates and medals. We encourage children to take the certificates into their schools where most Head teachers are more than willing to present them in assembly showing others the success they have achieved.

  

 

Classes follow the British Gymnastics fundamentals initiative.

Parents are responsible for their children during the lesson. The coach will assist and help you work with your child. The fundamentals scheme works towards passing badges and certificates teaching key balance and co-ordination skills.

In the year before the children attend school we run a pre-school independent class. During this class the parent must wait on site but the children work alone with the coaches.

We run birthday parties at the gym.

You get sole use of the gym for 1 hour then 45 mins in the function room where you can prepare a birthday snack for the children.

There is a qualified coach present to over see the party. the coach is not there to teach the children but to over see that safe play is adopted on the equipment.

You can invite up to 24 children the cost for this is £140

If you have more than 24 children then please ask for details.
