Leicestershire County Championships 2012                              

Sunday 17th June was the major competition in the year for Leicestershire gymnastics. This event was split into two competitions, In the morning was the individual apparatus Championships for Level 5 & 5+ gymnasts. The afternoon competition was the individual and the all around Championships for Level 4,3 and 2. There was over 80 gymnasts competing on the day from clubs across the County.

Mollie Todd 1st on Beam

 

Level 5 age 12+

Beth Murdock 1st on Beam and Floor and 3rd on Bars

Maise Lee 1st on Vault and Bars and 2nd on Floor

Kess Gilmour 2nd on Vault,Bars and Beam

Olivia Hine 3rd on Vault

 

Level 5+ Under 12yrs

Carys O’Reilly 1st on Vault, 2nd on Beam and 3rd on Bars

Paige Shilcock 1st on Bars and Beam

 

Level 4 age 10 & 11yrs

Molly Carey 2nd on Bars and 3rd on Vault and Beam.  2nd place overall and qualifies for level 3 next year.

Amy Stuckey 1st on Floor and 2nd on Vault. 3rd place overall and qualifies for level 3 next year.

Emily Quinn 1st on Bars and 3rd on Vault and qualifies for level 3 next year.

 

 

 

Level 4 age 12+

Isobel Ansell 1st on Beam, 2nd on Floor and 3rd on Bars. 1st place overall and qualifies for level 3 next year.

Jeanie Polishook 1st on Bars and 3rd on Vault and Beam. 2nd place overall and qualifies for level 3 next year.

Laura Pilling 1st on Vault. 3rd place overall.

Rosie Shaw 2nd on Vault

Amelia Smith 2nd on Beam

Alannah Hartley 2nd on Bars

 

Level 3 age 10

Laura Keletha 1st on Vault,Bars,Beam and Floor. 1st place overall and qualifies for level 2 next year.

 

Level 3 age 10 & 11yrs

Phoebie Bakewell 1st on Beam and 2nd on Bars. 3rd place overall and qualifies for level 2 next year.

Leah Parkins 1st on Vault and 2nd on Floor and qualifies for level 2 next year.

 

Level 3 13+

Amelia Tye 1st on Beam,2nd on Bars and 3rd on Vault and Floor. 1st place overall.

Charlotte Hancock 1st on Vault and Floor, 3rd on Bars. 3rd place overall.

 

Level 2

Charlotte Law 1st on Vault,Bars and Floor. 1st place overall.

Beth Childs 2nd on Bars and 3rd on Floor

 

What a great club performance. It was a very busy day and a great set of results for Hinckley and Burbage. A big well done to everyone who competed and those who have managed to attain the qualifying score to move up to the next level in 2013. We have three months hard work now over the summer to prepare ready for the start of the Autumn competitions.  Congratulations to everyone.
