Leicestershire Championships 2013
Level 7, 6, 5 & 5+
The competition was held in Leicester at New College. The event is to find the best gymnasts from across the county at each level. Level 7 is the starting level for competitive gymnastics in the county. There were 80 gymnasts entered from clubs across Leicestershire. Gymnasts achieving the pass mark of 42 points at level 7, 43 points at level 6 and 45 points at level 5 and 5+ will move up a level next year.
Hinckley & Burbage entered 12 gymnasts at level 7, 12 gymnasts at level 6, 6 gymnasts at level 5 and 2 gymnasts at level 5+..
Results: Level 7
Age 8 & 9 Lucy Gould 1st, Hazel Wilkes 3rd, Amy Dronfield, Lacey Shilcock, Sophie Beasley & Megan Mears all achieved the pass mark to move to level 6 next year.
Age 10 & 11 Laura Archer 2nd, Emmie Deer 3rd both achieved the pass mark to move to level 6 next year.

Age 10 & 11 Orlagh Wright 2nd, Keely Ball 3rd, Jessica Hastings all achieved the pass mark to move to level 5 next year.
Age 12+ Elle Beeby 2nd place.
Results: Level 5
Age 10 & 11 Jessica Metcalf 3rd place.
Age 12+ Ellie Richardson & Olivia Hine joint 1st place.
Results: Level 5+
Age 8 & 9 Anna Fenwick 3rd place.

The results overall were very good and credit must be given to all the gymnasts who passed their level. A big thank you to all the coaches helping out on the day. ”
